Support in Midlothian

Free, confidential support for anyone 18 or over affected by alcohol or drugs, whether that's your own use or someone else's. Looking for ongoing support, or just a chat? We're here. We work closely with other services, so you only have to ask once.

You don't need to have stopped, or be ready to stop, before you come to us.

Get in touch

You have rights when you use services like ours. Know your rights sets out what they are and what you can expect from us.

A man with short hair, a beard, and tattoos on his arms, standing at the entrance of a building with a black shirt, beige pants, and sneakers, smiling at the camera.

Our Midlothian team is based at Number 11 in Dalkeith, and works across Midlothian.

Our Community Navigators can talk things through with you and help you find the right support, whether that's something we run or another service. You don't need to have it worked out first.

Fill in our short form and a Community Navigator will be in touch. We'll confirm we've got it within two working days, and arrange your first conversation within 21 days. You can also call us on 07843 339 958.

Professionals can use the same form to refer someone they support.

If you need help right now

We are open Monday to Friday and are not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

For urgent health advice, call NHS 24 on 111. To talk to someone at any hour, Samaritans are on 116 123, free, day or night.
